Dairy demonstration in Kendal hailed a success

A large demonstration happened today in Kendal, Cumbria. It was put together by Ben Berry with help from local farmers and the NFU. It was a protest to raise further awareness for the price cuts many local dairy farmers have been forced to swallow.
A bath, filled with milk, had two bikini clad young farmers in, helping to draw hundreds of passersby.
Commenting Ben Berry said ” if you go into any supermarket today you’ll find water more expensive than milk. Supermarkets and processors are abusing their position to force prices on farmers which are wholly unsustainable.”
The demonstration was used to show that the fight is not over for fair prices and #SOSdairy.

“We look forward to shouting even louder to safe guard dairy farmers and our rural economy.”
