It IS amazing how nice the beaches are. It’s a shame that this day it was so cold and miserable, Im committed to returning on a sunny day in Summer.

It’s not just sand and statues in Morecambe! It’s become well known for bric a brack, antique and thrift shops. This one was pretty cool, but nothing took my fancy.

Of course many of Morecambe’s visitors come back to remember it’s hay day. Watch out behind you ladies!!
Something that there might be too much of in Morecambe is amusements. Pictured you can see there are winners and losers, but in the end we all lost!
Dance mat was a whole nother story however, where even with a dodgy leg I could throw down some combos.
But my real skills were shown when rocking out to guitar hero.
Contrary to some, not all of Morecambe is a look into a dystopian future. But inside megazone one is given a true taste.
Pounding techno music, smoke filled rooms and an abundance of child soldiers was thoroughly enjoyable. I would certainly go back!
But the highlight of the holiday must have been the evening do at the iconic art deco Midland Hotel (obligatory promotion) but unfortunately you will not get to see the best photos from that evening 🙂
